Contract Project Management
Because of the temporary nature of project work, some companies prefer to contract out for project management services. We have managed a number of projects on contract. These projects have ranged from very short-term to very long-term projects. In some instances, we have taken over all responsibility for the project. In other words, the project is totally outsourced.
In other cases, the project work is done in-house. We
have provided the project leadership. In projects of this
type, we often serve as project team leader, facilitator,
and/or subject matter expert.
Project Management Consulting
Many organizations prefer to manage their projects
internally but lack the capacity to do so. We are able to
help organizations build their capacity to manage projects
through our training and consulting services. This often
includes the development of project management protocols,
i.e., operating procedures, and the establishment of a
project management office to reduce duplication, centralize
staffing and reduce costs.
