Project
Management Webinars
What is a Webinar?
Webinars are interactive multimedia events. In contrast to
a webcast, in which information is transmitted in one
direction only, a webinar is designed to allow the
presenter and the audience to interact. A webinar is 'live'
in the sense that information presented follows an outline
or lesson plan, with a starting and ending time. In most
cases, the presenter uses a standard telephone conference
line, commenting on points of interest shown on the screen,
and the audience is able to respond in real time.
American Informatics webinars are conducted by expert
speakers on topics related to various aspects of project
management and the use of Merlin project management
software.
What Topics are Covered?
We are currently in the process of developing our webinar
schedule for the coming year. We expect to offer many of
the same topics that are covered in our seminars (click here to see the list). Most of
these seminars will be broken up into 60-minute
segments to better suit the webinar format.
When Are These Webinars Offered?
When we have completed our webinar schedule, we will post
it here and on the Updates page of our website. Our live
webinars will start at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (18:00-19:00
Greenwich Mean Time) in order to make it as convenient as
possible for people in all U.S. time zones. Organizations
wishing to schedule a webinar are encouraged to check with
us.
How Much Do Our Webinars Cost?
Effective January 1, 2007 all standard
webinars are $99 per person, $75 per person when
registering four or more persons from the same
organization. Check with us for pricing information for
customized webinars.
